ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On April 30, the Albany All Stars Roller Derby team is returning to the Washington Avenue Amory to face the Capital Crushers. MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop in Moreau on Wednesday. According to New York State Police, Erick Talback (Glens Falls, 54) and Renee Barrett (South Glens Falls, 52), are both charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Wednesday, around 4 p.m., police pulled over a car on Saratoga Road in Moreau for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Barrett was identified as the driver and Talkback as the passenger. Police say neither Barrett nor Talback possessed a valid driver's license, and an investigation led to the discovery of felony-weight narcotics in the car.Both were taken to Wilton State Police for processing. (NEWS10) -- Union Avenue westbound in Saratoga Springs will be closed on Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Following the closures, westbound Union Avenue will reopen to one lane. Brian Fitzgerald, 53, was arrested on charges of Promoting a Sexual Performance of a Child and Possession of a Sexual Performance of a Child. GALWAY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Galway man is charged with third-degree grand larceny after being accused of stealing a U-Haul truck, according to New York State Police. Police say on Monday, March 20, around 11:24 a.m., they received a complaint that a U-Haul rental was never returned to the Clifton Park business. Police say after an investigation, they found Duffy rented the truck and failed to return it to the agreed-upon date or provide payment to extend the rental agreement.State Police say Duffy was given multiple opportunities to return the car but failed to do so. The Waterford Police recovered the U-Haul on March 27. ST. CHARLES, Mo. - St. Charles police recently arrested four people with suspected ties to a $1 million jewelry heist in Florida. Police arrested George Paun, 31, Stela Sava, 26, Terca Tarnovan, 31, and Vasile Lacatus, 27, at a St. Charles home in connection with the case. All four suspects are considered Romanian nationals and part of an organized criminal network, according to the Walton County Sheriff's Office in Florida.
